Put together this illustration after seeing The Descendants this weekend.  Such a good movie.

This is that project I was talking about yesterday.  In celebration of the publication of David Foster Wallace’s final work later this month, designer/screenprinter Maxistentialist and I collaborated on this limited 100-print run.  It’s a privilege getting to draw this guy, after having gotten so much from his work just recently.  It seems his words are everywhere I turn.

Here’s a more recent work I’m a lot happier with.  Has a bit better line variation and smaller details that I’m trying to do more these days.

I want desperately to sit down for a full week and just work on my own stuff.  It’s felt like 24/7 working lately (I can’t really complain, it’s really nice to have work) and I’m itching to do some drawings for myself.  So, in that spirit, here’s some recent pages I’m pretty happy with from my Art History project.  Hopefully I can work on it some more soon.
